Activities at Holander House

Activities at Holander House are just that: ACTIVE. Whether it is a group activity, or a one-on-one activity led by a caring activity specialist, all activities at Holander House are designed to foster independence and center around the individual's fullest ability to participate. Activities are safe and stimulating, fun and entertaining. The Activities Department is staffed with a Certified Avtivity Director who is trained to comprehend the individual needs of each resident while providing support, comfort and companionship.

Days at Holander House are filled with activities which are personalized to fit residents' needs. Larger group activities and events such as games, dinner outings, music and even some types of therapies are utilized to promote socializing.

It's amazing to see all the smiles when a favorite song is played on the piano. And reminiscing is always a favorite activity for most everyone. Come join us for sing along on Friday afternoons, more smiles are always welcome!
